The VMEC Summer Scholars Program offers juniors and seniors attending a university in Virginia
the opportunity for hands on research using state of the art technology in either an academic
or industrial environment. These opportunities often lead to job offers or admission to
graduate school. VMEC mentors work closely with students to insure that the program is as
rewarding as possible. Students chosen to participate in the program will have
the chance to make new contacts and network with many people as well as receiving a competitive
stipend.
